The Supplements found in the Addison's Disease Package provide nutritional support, not found with medications alone, for important endocrine glands (hypothalamus, pituitary and adrenal) that play a role in proper adrenal hormone secretion. These supplements can help the body grow stronger and potentially be able to maintain or contribute to this hormone balance on its own. When medications are used to accomplish this alone, the end result will be two very small, shriveled adrenal glands and a lower quality of life for the animal, so our protocol can play an important supportive role. It can be used along with medications prescribed by your veterinarian, but those dosages may have to be adjusted lower because your dog may not need as much medication when using our supplements. If medications can be reduced when using our protocol this must be done in conjunction with your veterinarian so your animal can be properly monitored.
