I could not find any information that would indicate yes or no to your question. I am not sure if you cook the food or not. Heat from cooked food could damage the antler or living enzymes in raw food could begin to break down the constituents in the Elk Velvet Antler. The freeze-drying of the antler at harvest preserves its nutritional value, so exposure to moisture in the food prior to freezing could affect nutrient content. So, my opinion is that it could be okay if it was really important to you to add to food ahead of time and freeze. However, I feel it would be best added fresh and mixed into the meal at feeding time.
