Yes, Valerian Root is safe for cats. However, this formula is in alcohol so it may be more difficult to get into your cat because of the stronger taste/smell. I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish for your cat, but if you need a formula for stress or anxiety perhaps you may wish to consider the Anxiety Blend that is alcohol-free.
