The OmniCare Healing Spray is meant to be used for certain areas or spots that need some help to heal. So, I feel if you use it in this manner that it will be fine around your cats. I don't think the cats will like the smell or taste so most likely will not lick those areas on your dog. An alternative would be the Skin Healing Rinse that is safe for dogs and cats alike but does require some preparation as you make it as you would a tea.
