I would choose this calcium supplement over the the Seaweed Calcium for most dogs and cats due to its natural bone nutrient composition. The Seaweed Calcium is a good choice for dogs and cats with kidney disease because it is naturally low in phosphorus. Keep in mind that calcium supplementation is only necessary when you are home-preparing your pet's food as commercial pet foods add their own calcium source, usually calcium carbonate, which is not great isolated away from other minerals.
