Thyro-Tabs are a medication prescribed by a veterinarian so we can't provide medical advice concerning medications. What I would do is approach your vet and tell him you wish to provide more natural support for your dog's thyroid and ask him what he would suggest for dosage of the Thyro-Tabs when using the Thyroid Glandular. Some vets will be cooperative when discussing natural supplements, others not so much. A concern is how long your dog has been on thyroid medication because replacement hormones will actually cause the thyroid gland to shrink and atrophy after a period of use. It is difficult to get the thyroid gland back to health after this occurs. As part of a holistic protocol to support the thyroid gland I would also consider the Hypothyroid Tonic and the Daily Multi Plus.
