I think the answer depends on a couple of factors. How long was the Chia Seed Oil stored unrefrigerated? Was the container opened? If it was only a week or two unrefrigerated and was unopened I think it will be fine. Chia seed oil is very high in antioxidants that protect the oil from going rancid. To check you can smell the oil, fresh chia seed oil has a mild, nutty odor. If the bottle was opened and not refrigerated, or has a stronger, chemical odor it should probably be disposed of in the trash.
