There is no set time frame as there are many variables such as diet and approach to health care. The Daily Oral Care works by providing beneficial flora to the oral cavity that will gradually out-compete pathogenic bacteria and yeast in the mouth. This does not happen overnight as it is a process. To give you an idea I would say that over the next several weeks you should notice changes in how your pet's breath smells, signs of reduced redness or swelling in gum tissue etc... Please keep in mind that diet plays an important role in oral health. If you feed a typical dry, kibble diet that is usually 40 - 50 percent carbohydrates it will be harder to improve the oral health of a dog or cat. This is because those starches are constantly providing sugars that are a quick source of energy for undesirable organisms. Whole food diets are best and we offer some advice in our article How to Feed Your Dog.
