There are a number of different Cell Salts recommended to support an animal with diabetes, so in this instance I suggest that you select the Bioplasma that contains all 12 cell salts. For diabetes it is important not to sharply increase blood sugar. Unfortunately, most commercial pet foods are very high in carbohydrates and do just that. In order to provide a healthy diet it is best to utilize a commercial raw pet food blend that is naturally low in starches. Alternatively, we would recommend that you prepare the diet yourself at home, either raw or cooked, so you can control the ingredients. We provide instructions in our article How to Feed Your Dog. Along with the supplements found in this article, I would also recommend the Pancreas Glandular to support this important organ. If you follow a healthy diet plan with appropriate supplementation you can often get diabetes under control so it is no longer an issue.
