You would provide your large 95 lb dog with a minimum of 3/4 tsp of the Milk Thistle daily. Though you could provide as much as 4 - 5 tsps daily for a short period of time until the high liver enzymes decrease closer to normal levels. If you used the minimum dosage a container of the Milk Thistle Seed will last for approximately 33 days. There are other conditions that can cause an increase in ALP (alkaline phosphatase) enzyme levels as well as medications like corticosteroids and some antibiotics so take this into consideration.
