The Digestive Enzymes and Probiotics formula has been formulated for daily use to support the healthy digestion of meals and beneficial bacteria populations in the digestive tract. On the other hand Microbiome Harmony contains a specialized spore bacteria combined with a highly researched prebiotic. When a probiotic and prebiotic are combined this is called a synbiotic. This combination provides a fast multiplying spore probiotic fed by the prebiotic to quickly inhabit the digestive tract. This blend also provides beneficial lactic acid to help create a favorable environment for the growth of beneficial organisms. Because of these activities the Microbiome Harmony is often recommended to be used during and/or after courses of antibiotics, when there are imbalances in the digestive tract we wish to rectify, or when there are situations like IBD or diarrhea that flush out bacteria and we wish to replace this bacteria as quickly as possible. The Digestive Enzymes and Probiotics is used on a daily basis and the Microbiome Harmony is used on an as needed basis for as long as necessary. Both supplements can be used together.
