We can't say that one of our supplements can replace a medication or supplement prescribed by your veterinarian. However, I feel the Digestive Enzymes and Probiotics would be a good choice for your dogs for several reasons. Visbiome® is a very high-potency probiotic and when such high amounts of probiotics are provided there are often associated side effects such as bloating, gas and nausea. In addition, when providing such a high quantity of a limited species of probiotic organisms (8 in the case of Visbiome®) you can create imbalances in the digestive tract where there are typically hundreds of species of organisms working together. In addition, the Digestive Enzymes and Probiotics supplement provides digestive enzymes that are very important to the proper digestion of food and health of the digestive tract.
