Is this safe to give to our lab while she is on prescribed monthly zycortal, daily prednisone and trazodone?
Adrenal Tonic for Dogs and Cats
Our 11 year old 75 lb lab takes prescribed monthly zycortal shots, daily a.m. prednisone and p.m. trazedone. First night of taking all three of the Addison's package and she is very calm. Usually her anxiety peaks at bedtime. Is everything safe to keep taking concurrently?

However, since these supplements can duplicate the actions of the medications, the dosages of the medications may have to be adjusted taking this into account. Any adjustments to the dosages of medications should be done in consultation with your veterinarian. Since the medication Trazodone® does have so many potential side effects that can affect the personality of your dog, perhaps you can try our Anxiety Blend at bedtime.
