I would think the ear treatment that you mentioned would be irritating to the ears over time due to its use of acetic acid, boric acid and sodium hydroxide that is considered to be "strongly irritating and corrosive". Instead, I would consider using ZYMOX Enzymatic Ear Solution with 0.5-Percent Hydrocortisone that can be found online & Amazon. Use this for at least two to four weeks, don't stop right after the ears seem better. I would also use Sovereign Silver, now and continuously afterwards, to clean and disinfect the ears using a cotton pad and/or Q-tips. I would also consider our Systemic Enzymes that contain enzymes that will help to break down and eliminate yeast. Processed pet foods contain large amounts of carbohydrates that are converted into sugar in the body. This will feed opportunistic bacteria and yeast, so instead I would consider a healthy, whole food diet and we offer some suggestions in our article How to Feed Your Dog.
