For your 11.5 lb cat you will provide 1/2 ml of the Kidney Tonic, using the included graduated dropper, 2 - 3 times daily. We provide more information and supplement suggestions on our Holistic Kidney Disease Protocol page. You will notice in the video on that page that it is not recommended to provide a low-protein diet until end stage kidney disease. In all likelihood what your veterinarian wants to do now is provide your cat with one of their prescription kidney diets that will be very low in protein and nutritional value. Instead, we feel you should provide your cat with a healthy diet with sufficient moisture (not dry kibble!), and protein to maintain the health of the heart and muscle mass.
