We primarily recommend the Internal Powder to help make a dog or cat more resistant to fleas and other biting insects. Since weakened animals, either due to poor diet or other causes, are more susceptible to biting insects, this powder strengthens the system of a dog or cat and makes their blood taste bitter and less appealing to biting parasites. As far as internal parasites, we typically suggest Panacur Suspension which is a broad spectrum anthelmintic than consists of an anti-parasitic medication called fenbendazole that is safe for kittens when used appropriately. We recommend this over-the-counter dewormer because it usually gets the job done quickly. We have found that "natural" dewormers are unreliable and often have to be used for a longer period of time with repeat applications to fully resolve the issue.
