Your heart is in the right place, but there are several things wrong with your approach. I'll try to explain keeping my answer as short as possible. I am not a fan of the multivitamin that you mentioned because it primarily consists of isolated minerals and synthetic vitamins with some organs mixed in. Notice on the label that it contains iodine while you are also providing kelp in the diet which is also a concentrated source of iodine. Ditto for the calcium. Too much! It seems that you are providing a homemade diet, take a look at our article How to Feed Your Dog to make sure you are doing this correctly. Our Daily Multi Plus provides digestive enzymes and probiotics with additional USDA organic nutrients, but it is a supplement to a healthy diet and does not replace certain nutrients that should be obtained from a species appropriate diet. Combine it with the Seaweed Calcium that is a low phosphorus calcium supplement and contains numerous trace elements not just isolated calcium. Add our Multi Glandular Blend if you don't already add organs to your homemade diet. We also provide a Kidney Support Supplement Package for dogs and cats with kidney disease.
