The organs/glands provided in the Daily Multi Plus will provide nutritional value to supplement a healthy diet. They are not in a concentrated amount to fill the nutritional part of a formula in a home-prepared diet. To fulfill this requirement in a canine or feline diet you do need to add organ meat. It is not a good idea to always use the same organ meat as this is a very narrow nutrient profile and you can overdo some nutrients like vitamin A if you feed too much liver. We provide a Multi Glandular Blend that can be used to add to your pet's diet. Approximately three grams of this formula equals one ounce of fresh organs. This can be used exclusively or rotated in with the chicken livers and gizzards you are currently using.
