Yes, you can provide your dog with both spirulina and our Systemic Enzyme formula. A concern with spirulina is how it is grown and its level of contaminants. Even supplements labeled as "organic spirulina" can have fairly elevated levels of heavy metal contamination that is accumulated form the water in which it is grown. For this reason we usually recommend a supplement called BioPreparation which is a microalgae supplement consisting of four species of algae. This supplement provides a wider nutrient profile when compared to spirulina alone and is grown in a pristine indoor environment free from contaminants found in outdoor ponds.
