As a minimum suggested serving for an adult dog you would provide 3 1/4 teaspoons of Collagen daily. For ligament or tendon injuries you may use the serving for advanced needs which would be double the minimum suggested serving at 6 1/2 teaspoons of Collagen daily. Then, reduce to the minimum daily serving as your dog improves and the injury heals. Alternatively, you may provide Collagen to puppies or younger animals with no specific need at the time, just as nutritional support for connective tissue, at a reduced serving size as we do our relatively young dogs. If you have a puppy or young 65 lb dog that has healthy joints and connective tissue you could just provide 1/2 of the minimum suggested serving for adult dogs which would be about 1 1/2 teaspoons of Collagen daily.
