The Pancreas Glandular provides pancreas-specific nutrients to help support the health of this organ, and is not a concentrated source of omega-3 fatty acids. By capsules I wonder if you are referring to fish oil. If you are then yes, the omega-3 fatty acids from fish oil are safe for the pancreas in appropriate servings. I have not seen any research indicating that omega-3 fatty acids or fish oil supplements cause pancreatitis in dogs, cats, or humans when used appropriately. However, there are studies that indicate omega-3 fatty acids can be beneficial for acute pancreatitis due to their anti-inflammatory benefits.
