Yes, it is okay to use the Herbal Protection Drops with a heartworm medication. We usually suggest to provide medications and herbal remedies one to two hours away from each other. I hope your dog is doing well on the digestive enzymes. If she is not putting on weight you can mix two to four capsules of the Systemic Enzymes formula into each meal for some extra digestive help. We also suggest the Herbal Digestive Tonic for dogs with EPI (Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency). It is great that you are feeding your dog a healthy, whole food diet!
