Regardless of your dog's weight the upper suggested dosage of Glucosamine Sulfate is 1,500 mg daily. You probably wouldn't see much additional benefit with a higher dosage and more could cause digestive upset. If you feel that your dog needs some additional help with his joint support you could consider the Bovine Cartilage supplement which can be used in addition to the Glucosamine Sulfate.
