Yes, I feel the Herbal Defense would be safe to use for a dog with a collapsed trachea. However, we would like to make sure that we don't further irritate the respiratory system. I would avoid spraying the Herbal Defense around the face and chest where the scent would be strongest. You could also spray onto a paper towel and then apply to your dog to better control the amount applied.
