Herbal remedies are best given away from the main meal for better absorption. They can be squirted directly into your pet's mouth or mixed into some treat food like yogurt or apple sauce. We suggest 15 minutes or so before meals. This does not mean that you absolutely can not mix an herbal remedy into your dog's food. The most important thing is that your dog gets his herbal remedy and if it is easier and more convenient for you to mix it into meals then that is okay.
