The Hot Spot Powder may not be appropriate for inflamed paws as it is better used for open wounds. For irritated skin I would make a strong calendula tea and apply that to the paws three times daily with a cotton pad. You could also consider massaging some organic coconut oil into the paws. If there are any open abrasions I would use Sovereign Silver Spray first to gently disinfect the area. There could be a number of different reasons for your dogs paw licking and we should try to address the cause. Is it worse after eating and caused by food allergies?
