Yes, most definitely Elk Velvet Antler can be given to a young dog and also in addition to other supplements. While the Elk Velvet Antler does contain some collagen, since ligaments are mostly comprised of type I collagen, you may wish to also provide a concentrated Collagen supplement. Elk Velvet Antler is not a concentrated source of protein, and with the serving provided the amount of protein is negligible.
