Multi Glandular supplement dosage clarification please.
Multi Glandular Blend for Dogs and Cats
I am a bit confused in reading some of the other dosage recommendations in the questions. If two tsp. = 1 ounce, then my 9# cat who eats 7 ounces of meat which means she gets .6+oz of organs and if replacing with the Multiglandular would get 1tsp. Yet instructions state 1/2tsp per 50lbs. she should get 1/8tsp. Please clarify.

If using our Multi Glandular Blend as a general supplement for a processed pet food diet such as kibble or canned pet foods, we suggest a general supplemental feeding of 1/2 tsp per 50 lbs daily. If the Multi Glandular Blend is to be used as the organ portion of a home-prepared diet, as you are doing, which is approximately 10% or so for a cat, the serving would be different. In this case you would use the formula that three grams of the dried glandular powder equals one ounce of raw organs. Assuming two teaspoons of glandular powder weigh three grams then the math in your question would be correct and your cat would receive a slightly rounded teaspoon mixed into each seven ounce serving of raw food.
