Yes, you can certainly provide the Kidney Tonic with those other supplements. The Kidney Tonic will also help to offer support for the heart as well. Prescription diets concern me because they often contain such poor quality ingredients and low protein. The low protein in these diets will weaken the heart muscle over time. I am also concerned because kibble diets are so dry, and result in chronic dehydration that can negatively impact the urinary system. Cats biologically require moisture from their food as they are not big drinkers and have evolved from desert felines. We offer some diet choices for cats in our article How to Feed Your Cat. Try starting with a small amount (perhaps 1/4 tsp) of a quality raw or canned cat food mixed in with the kibble and slowly increase the wet food as your cat adjusts.
