Your feeding directions say mix the Bovine Cartilage in meals, then says best to give prior to main meal?Is adding to food beneficial?
Bovine Cartilage for Dogs and Cats
I've been mixing in their evening meal (raw food)..but further directions say Best given BEFORE main meal. Is it still beneficial when adding to their food? I'm ordering more today & want to get the best results with it, but giving it separate from meals would be harder for me to do.

Your pet will benefit from the Bovine Cartilage whether it is mixed in meals or given separately. We do suggest it is optimal to provide a collagen supplement 15 or 20 minutes prior to the main meal mixed into some apple sauce or similar food. The reason for this suggestion is that collagen can be better absorbed by the body while not competing with digestion of a main meal. That is optimal, but not necessary, for your dog or cat to receive the benefits of this supplement. You always have to take your lifestyle into consideration and balance what is best for you as well as your dog.
