Systemic Enzymes must be taken on an empty stomach in order to receive their systemic benefits. Getting a cat to ingest the capsules we feel would be too difficult and that is why we label them for dogs. The capsules can be opened and mixed in some soft food. However, the food should be a very small amount of a non-protein source such as banana, pumpkin, apple sauce or similar and this is not optimal but can work when needed. If you feel that your cat will lick up one of these foods with some enzymes mixed in you can try this using 1/2 capsule in the morning and evenings.
