To help support your cat's kidneys, which often have issues as a cat ages, I would select the Kidney Tonic. Use this formula for the life of your cat on a five days on, two days off schedule. If your cat has a history of urinary calculi, I would use the Antilithic until the situation is resolved and the urinary tract is clear. I would then use the Antilithic for one week every month to maintain the health of the urinary tract. A major reason as to why urinary tract issue are so common in cats has to do with food. Cats have evolved to obtain the majority of their moisture from the food they eat, so you can see why dry, kibble diets can be so bad for cats. Yet, that is how most cats are fed. To learn more about a cat's diet, and why raw food or a quality meat-based (not fish) canned cat food are best you can read our article How to Feed Your Cat.
