Colostrum is not a significant source of copper having only approximately (can vary slightly between batches) .49 mg per kilogram (2.2 lbs) of colostrum. The amount of copper in a suggested serving of colostrum for a dog is inconsequential and this supplement will be fine for your dog. Since copper storage disease can damage the liver over time, we like to support this organ and help it to remove excess copper using Digestive Enzymes and Probiotics, Liver Tonic and Ox Bile. None of these supplements are significant sources of copper.
