Gingival Hyperplasia is an abnormal growth of gum tissue. Our Gum Rescue can certainly help, but I would also recommend a couple of other supplements. Since bacteria can become trapped in deep pockets caused by the excess growth of gum tissue I would also suggest our Daily Oral Care to help bring beneficial bacteria into the oral cavity. I would also suggest an herbal remedy called Immune Balance to help modulate the immune system to help with excessive inflammation. Since most commercial pet foods are very high in carbohydrates that can contribute to plaque in a dog's mouth and increase inflammation, I suggest you consider a whole food diet for your dog. This diet can be a prepared raw or cooked diet, homemade by you or a premix to which you add your own meat. We provide some suggestions in our article How to Feed Your Dog.
