Biopreparatipon F3 can require that the body is sufficiently hydrated which generally isn't a concern for most animals. This is because it increases cellular activity and detoxification requiring that the body has a sufficient amount of water. In animals with a proper diet this is seldom an issue. However, I would guess that your cat is fed a dry, kibble diet. This type of processed pet food diet is very dry and can keeps animals in a chronically dehydrated state. This can be more difficult for cats who don't drink much water and require moisture from their diet. I suggest that you provide your cat with a wet diet and after doing this his constipation should resolve. A raw, whole food diet is ideal for cats, but a quality, high-meat (not fish) canned food diet is next best. We provide some suggestions in our article How to Feed Your Cat.
