Yes, it is best to mix supplements into a wet food for cats and often, but not always, for dogs also. Since cats have evolved to be cautious with new smells/tastes in their food, we have found mixing supplements into a small (so they can easily eat all the food) amount of special treat food separate from the main meal can work best for cats. This can be a special canned food, yogurt, or goat's milk or anything else your cat really likes. If necessary, you can mix a supplement with a small amount of liquid and use a Syringe to gently squirt into your cat's mouth.
