Yes, you can use the Hyperthyroid Tonic for your cat prescribed that medication. Since the tonic can be calming, if you do notice that your cat is more sluggish than usual you may be able to ask your vet if the dosage of the medication could be lowered. You may also wish to consider the Kidney Tonic to help support your cat's kidneys. Cats have evolved to receive the majority of their moisture from the food they eat - they don't drink much normally. Dry, kibble cat food can keep cats in a chronic dehydrated state and damage the kidneys over time. That is one reason the majority of our feline companions are lost to kidney disease. For this reason a raw food diet is the best way to keep a cat healthy, with a wet canned diet high in meat (not fish) as most canned diets are high in carbohydrates that are not great for cats.
