My dog is 12yrs old and shows no signs of pain or discomfort, can EVA be used as a preventative?

He's a 40lb. german shepherd/ Blue heeler mix and still very active when we're out and hiking. While he shows no real signs of pain or discomfort, sometimes when he gets up from having slept for a long while, he has a minor limp in his leg that goes away once he gets moving. I'm just looking to support his joints and keep him limber and pain free as he ages.

Yes, the Elk Velvet Antler can certainly be used to support your dog's joints at any point. You do not need a diagnosis of arthritis to use a joint supplement. Normally, joint support or medication isn't begun until signs of arthritis are noticed. This is late because at this point there is already damage to the bone within the joint that creates inflammation. Because of this we recommend that dogs begin using joint supplementation at a young age to maintain the joint cartilage that provides cushioning within the joint so there is less likelihood of degeneration in the future.
