There are approximately 80 mgs of the amino acid glutamic acid in each 1/2 tsp serving of our Repair and Strengthen. Glutamic acid is an amino acid the body uses to synthesize glutamine as needed. However, often L-glutamine and glutamic acid are considered to be similar because they are so closely related in a chemical sense. The whey protein isolate and colostrum found in our Repair and Strengthen supplement provide a full amino acid profile which is a superior way, as opposed to isolated glutamine found in manufactured supplements, to support the health of the digestive tract and other aspects within the body in our view.
