You could use the Pain Relief herbal remedy on an as needed basis. However, it may take a couple of days for the herbal constituents in the formula to build up in tissue. This is different from medications that have a quicker, stronger effect on the body and often have various side effects for this reason. I am not sure what issue is causing your pet discomfort. However, if it is joint inflammation, we often make our clients aware that it is important to support the cartilage within the joint and not try to alleviate pain alone, or arthritis will just continue to get worse. Two great choices for joint support are the Elk Velvet Antler and/or Bovine Cartilage.
