You are on the right track with wanting to strengthen his system and unless there is a bacterial infection the antibiotics won't do much good. To support your cat's immune system I suggest Astragalus Root and Biopreparation F3, and if needed you can also purchase the Wound Powder to help the injury heal more quickly.
