Use the Natural Tooth Powder at least three times per week. Some large veterinary institutions suggest brushing a dog's teeth twice daily - imagine doing that everyday, or at least once daily. However, I am sure these large veterinary hospitals feed all their dogs kibble foods. If you feed a dog a processed kibble diet, all of these diets are high in starch, you will be contributing to dental decay and your dog may need more frequent brushing. For dogs on a natural, whole food diet, low in processed carbohydrates that turn into sugars and feed bacteria that contribute to plaque build up, you will need to brush far less often as their teeth will be much healthier.
