The Elk Velvet Antler with Glucosamine has glucosamine sulfate (manufactured from shellfish) mixed in as an additional part of the formula. The Elk Velvet Antler supplement also contains glucosamine sulfate but in its natural form that is part of the nutritional profile of elk velvet antler. We formulated the Elk Velvet Antler with Glucosamine supplement for those on a budget, with larger dogs or a multi-dog household that desired the benefits of elk velvet antler but at a lower cost. This takes into account that manufactured glucosamine sulfate is a less expensive joint support ingredient than premium, farm-raised, elk velvet antler.
