Our Female Incontinence is safe to be used alongside pharmaceuticals. We would just suggest the Female Incontinence is taken two hours apart from pharmaceutical medications if possible. As far as efficacy, while there are many different physical causes for incontinence (neurological, kidney dysfunction, UTI, hormones, etc) our formula would be an excellent consideration. You may give it about a month to see how it works for your dog.
