Can a dog be allergic to the Systematic Enzymes?
Systemic Enzyme Formula for Dogs
Every time he takes it, afterwards he starts coughing and sneezing a lot. I give with a little bit of banana so not sure which is causing this response. He's been eating bananas for years. And added the enzymes a few months ago, but this response just started.

It is unlikely, but possible, that your dog is allergic to the enzyme formula. The coughing and sneezing shortly after taking the enzymes would not be common food allergy reactions. Instead, itching, scratching or chewing at paws would be more common food allergy responses. The coughing and sneezing make me think he is ingesting some of the powder. He shouldn't be chewing the capsules and they are best not opened prior to giving to your dog. Instead, place a capsule, one or two at a time, in the center of a spoonful of smashed banana and fold over forming a small ball so the capsule(s) are on the inside. Then give to your dog and make sure he swallows the capsules without chewing them. This should resolve your issue.
