One is that the cannabinoids that you are giving your dog can lower blood pressure and this may be affecting her heart condition. You may be surprised by this, however, a common side effect of CBD oil and similar products is coughing! I would slowly wean her off these, or lower the dosage you are providing, as you start our heart support supplements. Next, keep in mind that heart disease is progressive and the coughing may be an indication that it is progressing and some fluid may be building up in her lungs.
