Is Licorice Root suitable for Feline Oral Stomatitis?
Licorice Root for Dogs and Cats
My cat had all teeth removed except his incisors and canines. His problem area is the back pockets of his mouth, all rest of gums are in good shape now. I would really like to try a natural approach vs corticosteroids and antibiotics every 3-4 months. Thank you.

I would not suggest our Licorice Root for Stomatitis. Because Stomatitis by definition means inflammation of the mouth I would recommend our Gum Rescue. Gum Rescue includes antiseptic action to help keep oral pathogens in check, as well as healing action to promote the repair of damaged tissue. I would additionally recommend Colostrum, Antiviral, Sovereign Silver and a whole food cooked diet. L-Lysine is also a core supplement most cats with Stomatitis use, however because we do not carry this here, you may use NOW L-Lysine.
