I am so sorry about your cat's Giardia. Giardia is a protozoan parasite that lives and proliferates in the intestines of the body, increasing epithelial permeability and damaging the microvilli of the intestines making it commonly more difficult to eradicate. I would recommend approaching this comprehensively with a species appropriate diet, and proper supplementation. I would recommend 14 days of our Antimicrobial, at which point you may take a 5 day break. If your cat is still positive or symptomatic you may repeat for another 14 days. For any loose stool or diarrhea I would recommend our Diarrhea Relief. Lastly I would suggest considering our Daily Multi Plus to help promote the health of the gut, as well as our Repair and Strengthen to promote GI lining repair.
