Having worked with many dogs behaviorally, I will say that while calming supplements may prove beneficial in the short term, they are really suppressing the issue temporarily, and instead this is something that should be comprehensively addressed from a behavior standpoint through a professional dog training approach. There are many dog trainers out there that successfully help animals overcome anxiety, fear, low confidence and reactivity, all of which are intertwined. I would suggest researching a highly suggested dog trainer that uses humane methods to create a plan to address the reactivity, create new brain loops through positive new experiences with gentle exposure to help rewire your dog's emotional response to triggers. Please do not be afraid to "interview" your trainer, in fact I recommend that. Someone with testimonials and references, and who is very transparent about their methods and will dive in to teach you how to handle this so you and your dog can live your best lives. In the meantime our Anxiety Blend may be considered which may be able to assist in calming the nerves in a natural manner.
