Yes, your dog with kidney disease can use our Immune Balance herbal remedy with some caution. This remedy does contain licorice root which can potentially increase blood pressure over time. However, when used appropriately at the dosages we suggest I feel it will be fine. Just make sure to use on a five days on and two days off schedule. Have your veterinarian keep track of your dog's blood pressure when he visits just as a precaution. Since the Immune Balance does contain licorice root and milk thistle seed, both of which support the liver, I feel that additional milk thistle supplements will not be necessary.
